Payment terms

A €200 deposit value is required to make a booking.
Payment in full is required 28 days before your tour.

Cancellation policy

28 days or more before your tour: Full refund.

Less than 28 days before your tour: The €200 deposit value is non-refundable.

Cancellation by Fat Bike Galway: Full refund.

All cancellation requests must be submitted by email to: martin@fatbikegalway.com

Rescheduling policy

Subject to availability, tours may be rescheduled free of charge.
Requests to reschedule within 28 days of your tour will be treated the same as our cancellation policy should no alternative date be available.

Weather conditions

Strong winds and heavy rainfall may sometimes result in tours being cancelled. Please read our cancellation policy for full details.

Health Declaration and Disclaimer Notice

Fat Bike Galway’s Insurance requires all guests to sign a Health Declaration & Disclaimer Notice before the tour.
This document will be made available on the tour day.

Pickup and Drop off

Fat Bike Galway provides pickup and drop off from your accommodation within 3km of Galway city.
Please give details of your accommodation when making a booking.

Guest requirements and limitations

Biking guests must be competent at riding a bike.
Maximum rider weight: 120 kg.
Minimum biking age: 12 years old.
Minimum hiking age: 6 years old.

Roundtrip transportation in luxury vehicle.
Sheepdog Demonstration (selected tours only)
RadRhino electric bikes.
Cycle helmets.
Hi-Vis jackets.
Bottled water.
