What is included & not included in our Couple Tours?
Alongside all the great features already included in our tours, couples can enjoy an all inclusive experience where every detail and every cost is thoughtfully taken care of from start to finish.
What do we need to bring to our couple activity?
- A backpack – Something to stash your essentials (and maybe a few cheeky snacks for your partner).
- A waterproof jacket – Because love might keep you warm, but Galway’s rain doesn’t care.
- Comfortable footwear – You’ll be cruising and exploring, so leave the fancy shoes at home.
- Warm clothes – Cozy layers are your friend. Bonus points if you match!
- Hat & gloves – Even lovebirds need to keep those hands warm.
- Swimwear & towel (optional) – Fancy a dip? If the moment (or the mood) strikes, you’ll be glad you packed these.
- Sunglasses / Sun protection / Chapstick – For that rare Irish sunshine… and to keep those lips kissably smooth.

How difficult is Diamond Hill for a Couple Hiking Tours?
Think of Diamond Hill as the perfect relationship metaphor—it starts out easy, has a few uphill moments, but the views at the top make it totally worth it. The hike is moderate overall, with a well maintained path and steady inclines. You’ll break a little sweat, share a few laughs, maybe even hold hands on the tougher bits—but nothing too extreme. It’s just enough of a challenge to make you feel like you’ve earned that panoramic kiss at the summit.
How difficult is the full-day bike tour for couples?
You don’t need to be fitness fanatics—just bring a sense of fun, a love for the outdoors. There’ll be plenty of scenic stops to catch your breath, steal a kiss, and snap those “we’re so cute” couple photos. It’s more about the journey than the destination and with electric fat bikes doing most of the work, you’ll have more energy for laughing, chatting, and soaking up the views together.
What is the cancellation policy for couple activities?
We know plans can change—but love is always an adventure. If you need to cancel, please keep the following in mind:
- Cancellations require at least 7 days notice to receive a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before your tour will forfeit the €200 deposit.
- If Fat Bike Galway needs to cancel, you’ll receive a full refund.
